In this project, I employed a DHCP server to allocate IP information within a network setup. Utilizing two PCs, a switch, and a DHCP server, I configured a dynamic IP addressing system to streamline network management. Employing a copper straight-through cable, I established connectivity between the devices, facilitating communication. Through the implementation of DHCP, I automated the process of assigning IP addresses. Additionally, I verified the assigned IP addresses using the 'ipconfig' command, ensuring accurate configuration. This project provided hands-on experience in network configuration and management, emphasizing the importance of dynamic IP allocation for efficient network operation.
